In the space of 6 months, Kelly did a truly fantastic job planning our wedding this July. Right from the start, Kelly met us over a relaxed coffee and from then on was extremely helpful and involved us in every little decision in planning our special day. She was very skilled at reassuring and advising us on everything from guest numbers to menu choices with her wealth of experience (we had a lot of questions!). Kelly liaised with our venue and all our suppliers and delivered an unforgettable experience that was exactly what we had in mind. For our wedding, Kelly provided as much of a turnkey package as we wanted- she sourced and delivered our florals, decorations, chairs, cutlery & crockery, stationery and our wedding cake. Kelly has an extensive network of wedding supplier contacts and recommended the place we bought the dress and also the seamstress we used. Kelly clearly has an eye for wedding aesthetics and florals and we were truly overwhelmed with how amazing our reception room looked to the point of tears! Really above and beyond this, she provided us with not only logistical support both before and on the day itself with handling all the details and decorating, moving chairs etc. but also with emotional support as she calmed our nerves and was there for both of us when we needed it and when our guests were busy enjoying themselves. Kelly is an extremely useful and capable planner and we wholeheartedly recommend her for organising your event.
Kelly & her team were superb from the moment we made initial contact with Lush Weddings. We didn’t have an incling as to how to start planning & felt overwhelmed by the whole process. We spoke in great length about what we were hoping to do, the things we didn’t want to compromise on etc. Our master plan was to have our special day at home in a marquee on our parents land, due to the memories we had there, however it seemed impossible after attempting to get quotes from companies & seeing the costs mount up.
Kelly was so enthusiastic & jumped at the chance to help, she attended all the appointments & site checks, booked our caterers, entertainment, cake supplier & invites etc. She knew what questions to ask our suppliers & we found she knew what we wanted before we knew ourselves. We booked Kelly for our wedding in March, after being let down by another company, and we were so happy to have found her! We had an initial meeting where we went through the vision for our wedding florals, and Kelly was so helpful in her ideas and suggestions. She was also realistic about what could be achieved with our budget so there was no hidden costs.
On the day, what Kelly created was everything we had hoped for and more. The decor and floral arrangements were absolutely stunning (the photos speak for themselves!). Kelly is an absolute perfectionist in what she does and she stayed with us till after the ceremony, meaning we could re-use a lot of our wedding florals for the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
